It's that time again! Time for our students and staff to break away from our normal routines and spend time toegther, with others from our Central Region youth groups, and alone with God at Camp of the Woods in Speculator, NY! We are always blessed to have this amazing opportunity to participate in Winter Retreat.
We look forward to the spiritual growth and memories we all will take away from this trip. If you plan on sending your student here are the details...

Friday - Sunday || January 28 - January 30, 2022
DROP OFF TIME
3:30PM on Friday, January 28 @ Trinity
PICKUP TIME
3PM on Sunday, January 30 @ Trinity
WHAT TO BRING
PACKING LIST:
- Will need food money (2 meals as we travel to and from and if you want snacks)
CLOTHING
- Shirts/Pants/Socks/Underclothes (for 2 days)
- Modest pajamas
- One-piece, modest bathing suit (there is a pool)
- Snow clothing and jacket and boots (may want to bring extra socks and ice skates if you own them)
- Comfortable shoes
- Athletic court shoes or non-black soled sneakers. (must have these for use in the gym)
- Gym clothing
TOILETRIES
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Deodorant
OTHER MIGHT WANTS
- Camera
- Snacks
OTHER MUST HAVES
- Bible and Pen
- Food money (2 meals as we travel to and from and if you want snacks)
- Tip money $3 minimum (to be collected before we leave)
Charger for phone/camera
LEAVE HOME
- Illegal substances/dangerous objects
- Ideas or interest in pranking
SOME ODD AND ENDS:
- Towels, bedding, and pillows and towels are provided
- Prescriptions (to be turned in to their same gender youth leader upon arrival at church - written dosage and in original bottles. Youth leader will dispense for them when needed).
REMEMBER:
Weʼre going to have loads of fun and weʼre going to encounter Godʼs truth this weekend. Both are important and valuable but one is certainly more eternal than the other. Thoughtfully and prayerfully arrange your priorities so that this weekend is meaningful in every possible way.

WINTER RETREAT 2022 General Release & Hold Harmless Form
The undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned desires to participate in WINTER RETREAT 2022 (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Activities”) operated or sponsored by Trinity Assembly of God, Clay, NY (hereinafter referred to as “Church”) and Trinity Youth (hereinafter referred to as “Youth Ministry”).
The undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned further understands and acknowledges that the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned may incur personal injury, bodily damage, or death while participating in such Activities.
The undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned further understands and acknowledges that the Church and Youth Ministry would not allow the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned to participate in such Activities without releasing and holding harmless the Church and Youth Ministry.
Further, the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned request that the Church and Youth Ministry in consideration thereof agree to release, and forever discharge the Church and Youth Ministry, their officers and directors, and their employees, and their agents, and any parties volunteering on behalf of the Church and Youth Ministry from all actions, claims, costs, expenses or damages of any kind growing out of or related to any Activity of the Church and Youth Ministry in which the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned participates.
The undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned further acknowledges that this is a full and complete release for all injuries and damages which the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned may sustain as a result of the undersigned or a member of the immediate family of the undersigned participating in any Church program.
The undersigned, being a parent and/or legal guardian of the above minor, does hereby authorize the treatment of the above minor by a qualified and licensed medical doctor in the event of a medical emergency which, in the opinion of the attending physician, may endanger his/her life, cause disfigurement, physical impairment, or undue discomfort if delayed, while said minor is participating in the above event, including transportation to and from the event site. This authority is granted only after a reasonable attempt has been made to contact me.
